Lisa Soder
Tagline:Hi! I am Lisa and I work on European AI policy and technical AI Governance!
About Me
I'm the Acting Head of AI Governance at interface, a pan-European tech policy think tank, and am currently visiting Stanford's Intelligent Systems Laboratory. My work focuses on building the information infrastructure for AI accountability through better standards, documentation, and audits.
Previously, I held research fellowships at the RAND Corporation and Centre for the Governance of AI, co-organized the first workshop on Technical AI Governance, worked as a Strategy Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, and led a global health NGO in Ethiopia. I hold a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics, where I studied comparative transatlantic approaches to technology regulation and competition law.
Outside of work, you can often find me in the backcountry either ski touring, hiking, or cycling! Sometimes also meditating or surfing!
